1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the CSSBite Chrome extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CSSBite is a Chrome browser extension that allows users to visually select components on websites and extract clean, reusable code in multiple formats including HTML, CSS, React JSX, Vue, Svelte, Tailwind CSS, and others. The Service includes a free tier and a paid Pro tier with additional features.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

Free Tier

The free tier of CSSBite provides access to core features including code extraction, 9 export formats, live preview, design inspector, component library, CodePen export, accessibility audit, keyboard shortcuts, and measure mode. The free tier is available at no cost and with no time limits.

Pro Tier

The Pro tier provides access to additional advanced features including animation extraction, pseudo-element support, hover/focus state capture, SCSS/LESS output, design token export, AI-powered class renaming and code cleanup, auto-responsive code generation, performance audit, full page capture, project generator, multi-tab extraction, style guide builder, and export integrations. Pro features require a valid license key purchased through our authorized payment provider.

4. License and Usage

CSSBite grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal and commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may:

  • Install and use CSSBite on your personal devices
  • Use the extracted code in your personal and commercial projects
  • Save components to your local library
  • Export code to external services (CodePen, GitHub Gist, VS Code)

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the CSSBite extension
  • Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the extension or Pro license keys
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or third-party rights
  • Share, transfer, or publish your Pro license key
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent the licensing system
  • Use automated tools or scripts to interact with the Service

5. Pro License

Pro license keys are sold through LemonSqueezy, our authorized payment provider. Each license key may be activated on up to 3 (three) devices simultaneously unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase.

Refund Policy

If you are unsatisfied with CSSBite Pro, you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase. To request a refund, contact us at ahmad.faraz@cssbite.com with your order details. Refunds are processed through LemonSqueezy and may take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement.

License Revocation

We reserve the right to revoke a Pro license if it is found to be shared, redistributed, or used in violation of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

CSSBite, including its code, design, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of CSSBite and its creator. All rights not expressly granted in these Terms are reserved.

Code extracted using CSSBite from third-party websites remains subject to the original website's copyright, terms of service, and licensing. CSSBite does not grant you any rights to third-party content. You are responsible for ensuring your use of extracted code complies with applicable laws and the source website's terms.

7. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • How you use the code extracted by CSSBite
  • Ensuring your use complies with the source website's terms of service and copyright
  • Obtaining necessary permissions before extracting and using code from websites you do not own
  • The security of your Pro license key

8. Privacy

CSSBite does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All processing happens locally in your browser. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

CSSBite is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
  • The extracted code will be 100% accurate or complete
  • The Service will be compatible with all websites or browsers
  • Defects will be corrected in any specific timeframe

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CSSBite and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Pro license in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $50 USD, whichever is greater.

11. Third-Party Services

CSSBite may integrate with third-party services such as CodePen, GitHub, and VS Code. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. CSSBite is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the extension or our website.

13. Termination

You may stop using CSSBite at any time by uninstalling the extension. We may terminate or suspend your access to Pro features if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your Pro license will be deactivated, but your locally stored data (component library, settings) will remain on your device until you remove the extension.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Pakistan.
